I quickly spotted the English to Russian dictionary on this site and just as quickly discovered that it translates from English and not to English, I however am learning Russian and have been pulling my hair out trying to download an xdxf that'll translate from Russian and have only succeeded in wasting my whole morning and high noon.  Can you remedy this пожалуйста?

Unfortunately, the site of the XDXF initiative was closed, I had taken my dictionaries from there. Now their archives are located here http://sourceforge.net/projects/xdxf/files/dicts-XDXF/sdict05/  Select an appropriate dictionary there.

Ah yes I can download the file but I cannot pick it up in a scan and it doesn't appear in the dictionary section like the previously mentioned dictionary.  I feel like I've tried everything.

These files are zipped with an archiver that is not supported by the program. You only need to extract the XDXF file from the archive and pass it to the program so that it can load the dictionary. By the way, in the MacOS, the system itself opens such archives.

To recount, I downloaded 3 unique unzip apps which didnt work, I unzipped it on my laptop and emailed it to myself to open it on my iPhone through your special browser and that didnt work either and neither did the multiple file managers I downloaded

This is one of the common archivers in the UNIX systems. Send me links to the files you need — I'll repack them for you.
