Today I have attempted to send 3 different diagrams as pdf by email. One of them came through, the other emails had an image placeholder and no attachment.

Check that you have the latest version of the program and the latest firmware on your device. Sometimes the iOs mail program incorrectly shows single page pdf files, in this case turn on forced generation of an extra page — the problem will disappear.

I too have the same problem.  When I emailed to colleagues, the cant see the attachment, only the place holder; however, if the forwarded the message, the attachment is there.  Can you add a feature where the attachement is visible on first email try or, have it print to PDF using 3rd party app?  Or have it print to PDF in dropbox?

I have the same issue.  I've found that when I remove the grid before making the pdf, then the pdf opens fine.  When the grid is on, it will not open.

Thanks for the observation, I hope it will help me to fix this annoying issue of forming PDFs.

Some PDF attachments opened in Apple Mail on iOS are corrupted or damaged.

Apple Mail on iOS is used to receive emails with PDF attachments.

Attached PDF documents are not displayed correctly (corrupted/damaged or blank content) or cannot be opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader (or other PDF viewers, such as Apple iBooks).

1. In Apple Mail, scroll to the end of your email message.
2. Tap Download full message (if visible).
3. Long press (press & hold) the PDF attachment icon.
4. Tap the Acrobat icon.

If you can't fix it let me know. I will send the screenshot.
