Calculating and Adding Expected Times
«

Hi,
I use inShort to work out my Project's workflow and then to estimate how many hours the project will take for estimating budgets/timelines.
I was wondering if there is a way to add up the Expected times in a drill down chart and automatically put it into the Folder's expected time.
For example, attached is a PDF with 2 pages: on the 1st page, there is a Folder called "First Draft" and on the 2nd page is the Drill Down chart.
I'm trying to figure out a way to automatically add up all the expected times on Page 2 and put the sum in "First Draft" on page 1. Does that make sense?
Is there a way to do that?
Thanks!
Gary

You need to run the analysis of the diagram as a project. When this function finds the critical path, it will automatically put down the time estimates for the parent item of the diagram.

Thanks for the reply. That makes sense. I'll give it a try tonight.
Best,
Gary
