Hello again.

I would be very appreciative if on an update of inShort we, the users, could have several features. Of course this all requires much code. But I would be willing pay the money for inShort 2.0 if necessary.

The first feature would allow for contraction of the object type so that its margins adjust to the text and leave as little white space as possible. There's no need to have justificated text, but at least the object type must not have "too short pants" (i.e., hidden text) or "too long pants" (i.e., excessive white space). Also, keep in mind that the object type must not be resized too narrow (COLUMN) nor too wide (ROW).

Precisely, a second feature would allow for placement and resize readjustment of object types within one same canvas level, so that each object type looks the same as the next object type, depending on the amount of text you place on one and the other. Otherwise, a lot of time is lost fidgeting around with all this manually with the object types' size cursors. This could be done in either an automated fashion (general settings) or in an automatic fashion (upon my command).

A manual (and quicker) workaround to this would be to have an ANCHOR size cursor so that ALL object types respond in parallel (i.e., ALL TOGETHER AT ONCE) to my finger movement. I would first need to pinch down the screen in landscape mode so that all of the canvas is in view and that way I may see how all object types respond.

And for Christmas me wants.....  Tongue

Cheers,
Antonio

I understood the essence of your desires and will think what is possible to implement.

The first problem is the neighboring objects, which do often not allow "lengthening the pants" or making them wider. As a result, we need a means of mapping out the entire diagram as a whole, which is quite a challenge.
The second difficulty I see in the automatic correction of links when you resize an object. Sometimes the program draws lines not in the most comfortable way, which will force to periodically edit them upon changing the text.
And third, sometimes awkward attempts of programs for automatic markup only distract, irritating users, and to make an "inconspicuous" assistant is rather difficult.

Thank you for your excellent review — I was pleased to read it and it inspires.
