inShort uses only finish-to-start links, since it is the only form of the link that is not contrary to the principle of cause-and-effect, and not misleading.
For example, the start-to-start link is harmful as hiding the real essence of the object dependencies, since the start of an object is a consequence, not a cause. If a start-to-start link is drawn from object A to object B, it means that the start of object B does not depend on the work executed by object A, and depends on the execution of the predecessors of A, in this case, it is more correct to draw links from the predecessors of A to B, which on the whole will more fully display the character of relationships between objects.
However, there is a particular case when the start of object A is a trigger for the start of object B, but in this case it would also be more correct to create a separate starting trigger object that activates objects A and B simultaneously.
In your case, you can choose the realization of such a connection that fully corresponds to the essence of your tasks.
