I am really enjoying the expected time feature with its Optimistic, Most likely, and Pessimistic values. This tracks well with how I work.

One issue that I have difficulty with is the fact that Expected Time reverts to days (d) with each new object added. Since I tend to work mostly in hours (h) I repeatedly make the mistake of entering hourly values only to realize that the program had reverted to days. This makes it necessary to go back and re-enter values as hours.

Having the units for Expected Time remain on the last unit selected would be a significant improvement, I feel.

I pondered on this subject and decided that it would be more correct to make a setting where you can choose a preferred type of the default period, or indicate that the preferred type will be the last used, just as you suggested.

That sounds like an excellent choice. Thank you.
