Objects vanish in flowchart mode

I have encountered an issue while working through the User Guide.
The process object "Mark the tasks for the calendar" in the diagram "Life cycle of diagrams" suddenly vanished while editing one of the connected objects. The connecting arrows were still there, starting/ending on the empty canvas.
Since there is no UNDO function, I could not bring the object back. I had to reset the User Guide in the preferences.
I could not reproduce this behaviour but ran into the same behaviour a second time when "Sequentially execute the objects in the green test area" in the diagram "Schedule keepers" vanished.
Did I accidentally do something wrong? Has anybody else recognized this behaviour?
It would bother me to lose data halfway through a carefully planned project.

Indeed, there is a bug in the application when sometimes some objects are lost, it is quite rare, and it is virtually impossible to reproduce it. It is the correction of this situation that retarded the new update of the application, but I have taken measures to stabilize the application, and soon the update should be available.
So far I recommend to periodically export your project in ISH file, from which you can recover all data.
