This function does not work properly and crashes the app.

The app crashes when I try to edit my rapid import template.
I set up a few of these to use.

When I tried to use a rapid import template, it did not take the money from the account. The icon remained grey.

I then try to edit my templates, but the app crashes!!

Also the function to save a transaction as a template does not save it to the records templates area

You probably forgot to specify the currency of the operation in the template, so the program could not conduct it.

I tried for a couple of days to crash the application when editing a template, but to no avail — the application worked as it should.
Changes in the account do not affect the template, the problem is possible only in the parameters of the template itself. Try creating the template from scratch.

Also, it is useful for me to know what device you have and what version of iOS it uses.

Hi, yes. I forgot the currency in the template. Many thanks.

Is it a good idea to alert the user that something critical to the app working is missing? I.e. Prompt them to change it before save, or have the template currency default to that of the account the template is made for?

Ipad Air (ios 7.0.4)

Entering a template is a special case. Since the template should work for amounts in different currencies, the currency may be left unentered. When you enter an ordinary record, if the currency is not entered, it is taken out of the account.

The program uses the concept of "lazy" input when the program does not force a user to enter what it needs, but waits until enough data is accumulated for performing the transaction. With prolonged use, this approach is friendlier than constant pulling a user up sharp.

I second this. Exactly the same problem. When try to edit rapid templates, the app force closes. I use iPhone 5s on the latest OS. I've tried to reinstall the app on ipad and got the same problem. Can't reinstall on iphone, will lose all of the data. Is there a back up feature?

Thanks for the report, I previously believed that this is a single problem.

To backup data, you can use iCloud. Also you can save the file trend.sqlite to your computer via iTunes, this file contains all the data. When you need to restore data, simply return the old file in place.

Reinstalled the app. Clean install d/n have a problem w/ rapid templates and works flawlessly. But once I upload the data from iCloud (or trend.sqlite) - then it's back again. Something in the data messes w/ the templates.

To give you some possible hints on where to look for the bug - the bug first appeared when I was trying to create an already existing template (I've previously set up the check/acc-cash transfer template, but did smthg wrong and template had persistently shown "dimmed" icon (as I now understand - because currency wasnt set up). I've tried to create a new template w/ the same name and all other parameters. That is when the app started force-closing. The phone was 100% offline if this matters.

I thought that in the latest update the problem has been fixed. I just cannot reproduce it, but I carried out code optimization, and judging from the absence of complaints, decided that everything is fixed. It's a pity, I will keep searching.

clean install works perfectly.
but i got 3 years of transactions which i'd like to keep track of.
once i download data from icloud - bug returns.
can it be data-related problem?
i can send you the data file if you need it as i am really interested in fixing this. if you need it - pls provide an email.

Lately, I've been heavily testing template creation, and finally managed to repeat the mistake, now it will be fixed.
So no additional data will be required, thanks for the offer.
