General Category / Suggestions for improving the program / inShort - a great process vizualisation tool needs good export functions for graphics

May it was already said before, however, I like to emphazise, that the current export capabilities for process figures are not adequate. inShort is used for visualisation of complex processes. In any professional environment you need to share graphics and to put them in presentations and other documents. The current export capabilities are not sufficient. Graphic export in jpeg and other common format is necessary. To extract figures from exported pdfs is possible, but too inconvenient. Export as html (dynamic or/and static ) would help, as this also exports pictures. If inShort models can be exported in this way, visibility of inShort on the web would also increase, which in turn should be a great promotion of this great product.
Juri, any plans to enhance this part?
Andreas

thanks for various enhancements, nice to see how you worked in user's feed-back.
Sorry to say, but the application crashes if I drill in folders. First installed it crashed the iPhone as well the iPad (iOS 5.01).
However I have to say that my iPad crahes now also in other applications and my video player does not work at all. Hopefully the next iOS upgrade solves everything.

thanks; but I am looking for a more comprensive documentation. For example, a generation of a process description which describes inputs, outputs and constraints. Maybe a process tree based on the structure from the opml file. A link from a textual description to the corresponding process element would be great. Comments from the model should be represented as paragraphs related to a process description.
Such features would be usefull in process-oriented management systems; system specifications, creating process hand books. etc.
I guess many thinks would be possible if the xml export is customizable and xslt transformations are supported.
cheers

as reported before inShort crashs while drilling in folders. Meanwile it crashs so often that I stopped working with it. Freeing memory seems to help sometimes, but the situation worsen and I looking desperately for a bug fix.

I figured out how the routing works; did not know that I have to draw an arrow via several edges. However, I am wondering why arrows cannot be drawn straight from the upper edge of an object up to the next object above. May be this sounds like it is just a matter of esthetics, but I believe diagram would be more readable if I can draw allways straight lines.
