1  General Category / inShort / Re: iCloud Synchronisation on: March 25, 2020, 06:29:25 PM

did you get an answer? I can’t seem to find any instructions on how to sync the maps from my ipad to my iphone - and vice versa.

Please assist with icloud synchronization - I do not see anything in the user guide about this :-(

Also, i’ve searched this forum, and i see that some are able to sync - i cannot even figure out how to get started synching?  I have enabled icloud synching in the settings of both ipad and iphone, but i do not see any synching happening
2  General Category / Bug reports / Re: Cards disappear on nodes when I try to edit them on: April 07, 2018, 09:34:37 PM

Oddly, it occurs on my ipad and not on my iphone.

Ipad air 2

11.2.6 IOS

I hit the ‘modify’ putton, tap the node, and then tap ‘card’.  The card appears and disappears instantly

Thank you for looking into this!

3  General Category / Bug reports / Cards disappear on nodes when I try to edit them on: April 02, 2018, 04:08:55 PM

So i know there was a recent update on how cards work, and I’m trying to edit a node recently and the card appears and disappears immediately before I can edit!

Is this a bug?

4  General Category / inShort / is there a manual yet? on: February 18, 2014, 07:49:13 PM

5  General Category / Suggestions for improving the program / Re: Need for speed on: May 30, 2012, 05:54:10 AM
hi there,

to double-click a node to immediately enter 'edit' mode would be superb!!

thank you for this excellent program, i really love it, and rely on it heavily!

sincerest gratitude

6  General Category / Suggestions for improving the program / Re: REDUCE AMOUNT OF CLICKING FOR ACCOMPLISHING TASKS on: May 02, 2012, 01:38:39 AM
hi there,

i for one would appreciate this!

when i am in 'edit' mode, the card still shows up in 'view'... maybe the edit mode for the diagram could match with an edit mode for the card when selected-
7  General Category / Suggestions for improving the program / REDUCE AMOUNT OF CLICKING FOR ACCOMPLISHING TASKS on: April 29, 2012, 06:46:27 PM

i love the program, it needs to have much less clicking to accomplish a task.

one such example is when i click on a node, get the card menu.. all good...

--- but then when i want to edit this card, i have to click edit again, if you got rid of this (i can edit immediatately), this would really reduce frustration a lot--  aka, no need for a 'view' mode for the card

it may sound like a small thing, but really frustrates the process, as i'm likely to edit this screen everytime i pull it up - and the value to just viewing it, is not relevant in my mind

sincerest thanks for considering this!
8  General Category / Your diagrams / Re: Really unfriendly App! on: April 29, 2012, 06:39:10 PM
funny.. i think a bit of project planning and problem solving training is needed to use this app

in my mind, i only use about 40% of what it does (i dont understand the rest yet), but that 40% is stellar.

i think the app needs less frustrating bits (i'll try to post my suggestions) - which would make it 'perfect' for me... the infinite drilldown and information hiding components of the app are stellar, nothing like this on the app store-

thanks for continuing to invest in this, Short.
9  General Category / Suggestions for improving the program / template diagram should inherit the parent name of node on: April 29, 2012, 06:36:02 PM
hi there,

i love your program, there are a few glitchy things about it that prevent it from being fantastic.. please continue updating!!!  it outperforms corkulous and some other ones, imho

please consider when using a template to create drill down diagram... that the child template diagram inherit the parent node's name.

when i'm in the child node, i completely forget what the parent node was! very time consuming to go back and check...

also, if i may, i love your instructions on how to problem solve by creating a 'goal complete' node at the bottom, and filling in the assets needed and required.  very helpful.

-- could be especially cool if one could have some template that creates the node at the bottom with the name of the diagram in it-- this could be solved by having childe templates inherit the parent node's name (above).. i could just have a template that has a node that says 'completed' at bottom, with name of diagram inheriting the parent node's name (same as above)

anyways, please continue the work in updating this.. it has the potential to be the best out there.

10  General Category / Suggestions for improving the program / Re: Enlarge the "drill in" button on: April 29, 2012, 06:29:03 PM
It is sometimes hard to hit the button to drill in an object; why not enlarging a bit.

..i agree with this! thank you..
